Loading the Maricopa Certificate Authority for Netscape

The following are instructions for loading the Maricopa CA Certificate if you are using Netscape as your browser.

1. After selecting the Netscape (PEM) radio button, click the "Load Certificate" button.
2. New Certificate Authority explains the process of accepting a Certificate Authority.
   1. Click Next
3. This is an explanation of what a Certificate Authority does.
   1. Click Next
4. Shows the Certificate. (If you click on "More Info" another window will appear over the Certificate Window indicating whom the Certificate belongs to, who issued the certificate, the Serial No., validation dates, and the Certificate Fingerprint. Click OK to exit the "More Info" window.
   1. Click Next
5. Accepting the Certificate: This will allow you to accept the Certificate.
   1. Select all three options, click in the checkbox, for Certificate acceptance: network sites, e-mail users, and software developers.
   2. Click Next
6. This is the warning notification before sending information to a site. Please do not select the "Warn me before sending information to sites certified by this Certificate Authority."
   1. Click Next
7. Notifes you that you have accepted the Certificate and requests you to enter a short name to identify the Certificate.
   1. Input: Maricopa Community Colleges
   2. Click Finish
